I was inspired by a freelance commission project to draw some deer. Deer  look pretty silly. I kept thinking about this comic by Erika while browsing reference photos. Silly deer.

Today was a looong day. A phone interview for Relish publicity in the morning, speaking at NYU to a comics class in the afternoon, and an extremely weird theater experience in the evening. 

It was nice to draw some deer and make a repeat pattern from them.

I can’t believe I’m going to Australia the day after tomorrow.

Maybe I should draw some kangaroos.
